The Superbook Club is a weekly gathering for children that combines fun, joy, and spiritual values. It’s a safe and welcoming space where kids can explore the Bible, learn how to pray, build friendships, and discover God’s love.
One such club, run by the “New Hope Church” in Katowice, Poland, has welcomed around 200 children over the past two years. It started small, with just 10 children. But when the war in Ukraine broke out, many refugee families came to Poland, and many children from those families joined the club. With time, the number grew, and around 30 children now attend the Superbook Club on a regular basis.
Each meeting is filled with engaging activities – the children watch Superbook episodes, play games, do crafts, sing songs, and pray together. For many, it was their first time hearing the Gospel or experiencing real friendship. One child said they didn’t have any friends before coming to the club – now they look forward to every meeting with excitement.
Ola Zinczenko, the club leader, shares:
“As the leader of the Superbook Club, I see amazing changes in the children. They learn to love, forgive, and help one another. During prayer time, they pray for the sick, for peace in Ukraine, and thank God for Jesus Christ. Some children with disabilities come – and for them, this is the only chance during the week to spend time with other kids. The club is a place of friendship, joy, and spiritual growth.”
Stories from the club show that it’s not just an activity – it’s a place where lives are being transformed. One boy even shared at the swimming pool with a new friend that Jesus Christ is our Savior who died on the cross to save us – and invited him to church. Through the Superbook Club, the Gospel is spreading and changing children’s lives.
Superbook Club is more than just weekly meetings. It’s a growing community where children encounter God and grow in faith, love, and confidence.
